Digital Service Bureau/Rental Darkroom

ArchiveLab was created to serve the burgeoning photographic community in the Portland / Vancouver area.

 

ArchiveLab’s goal is to provide services, facilities, and education to photography enthusiasts and professional photographers.

 

Our facilities include:

 

• Multiple Macintosh workstations with Adobe Photoshop software.

• Complete traditional black and white darkroom with Beseler enlargers, cold light heads, Nikkor enlarging lenses, and Ilfolab 2150 processor, providing dry to dry RC prints in 70 seconds. The darkroom has all the bells and whistles, you just provide your own paper.

• Large, well organized work area w/ paper cutters, lightboxes, high speed wireless internet. The facilities mentioned above are available to rent by the hour.

 

Our services include:

 

• Custom black & white hand printing from your negatives.

• Digital photo restoration. *Scanning and archiving of your old photos, negatives, and sides (we always honor copyright).

• Digital retouching, color correcting, and enhancement of your photographs.

• One on one training and instruction in the use of Adobe Photoshop software.

• Periodic lectures / seminars on photo related topics.
